What Is a Therapy Dog?

This week Frankie and I did a presentation via Skype for 1st graders and primary class in Eastern Canada.  Before I shared Frankie’s therapy dog work with them I asked if they knew what a therapy dog did.  One little boy had the perfect answer:

“A therapy dog makes people happy when they are sad.”

Short, to the point, and simpy beautiful!

Below Frankie with one of the residents of Libby’s House (senior assisted living) who always lovingly calls Frankie, “Freddy.”
