During the winter season, if it is extra cold, I scatter seeds on the deck to help the birds stay warm. The other day I just happened to catch this quick-as-a-sprite little red rascal enjoying the seed. Red squirrels are one of my favorite critters as I love how fast and curious they are. This little one provided quite a few moments of entertainment on a chilly day.
