I searched high and low… where could that little one be? I looked in the JT Construction office and her dancing kitty pillow was empty, just the imprint left behind of Frankie’s few snoozing hours she had there while I worked this morning. I looked under the end table where her forest green bed sits in the living room. Empty. I checked out her pretty pink bed in the bedroom and that too was empty. Where could that little peanut be? “Frankie,” I called, “where are you?” Then around the corner popped her tiny head! Here she was soaking up the only area of sun streaming through the patio doors in the living room. The ottoman blocked her from my sight until she peeked her head around the corner. “Oh little one,” I said, “Are you giving thanks for the warm sunshine?” Just the sight of her made me get down on my knees, pause and hug her close. Enjoying just the simple moment of the sun soaking into her fur. Content as could be. I couldn’t resist grabbing the camera which was luckily close by for a change. Snapped this picture which I thought is so interesting.
I am thankful for all of you who follow my blog. May you and yours have a Thanksgiving filled with Blessings and Joy… and may the simple moments of life be abundant always.
