I recently came across an excellent article on handling a handicapped pet and what would you do if you were faced with the same situation.  This was posted on Maryland Dog Blog and was very well written. I think it is well worth taking the time to read and to pass it on.

It was an absolute delight to do an interview with Marlive Harris of The Grits.com.  Talking with Marlive was like sitting at a cafe with her and sipping a cup of chai and having a listener who listened with all her heart.  Thank you, Marlive!  Here's the interview! It never ceases to amaze me how much the internet has opened up a world to me and meeting fun, new people!  Joy Delgado is one of them.  She lives on a sailboat!  Cool, huh?  She illustrated Zooprise Party and her daughter wrote the book.  They started their own publishing company called J.O.Y Publishing.  A woman following her heart and the fact her book is about animals is a woman after my own heart!  I recently reviewed her book and offer it here for you to check out.
