In my Animal Reflections Healing Oracle deck I included 21 of the Major Arcana from the Tarot, though I didn’t share that in the guidebook. I realize in hindsight that this may serve as an additional resource for diving deeper into insights when working with my deck. So I put together a PDF addendum outlining which animal I chose to represent each of the 21 Major Arcana and keys from the Tarot. You can use it alongside the guidebook if you wish.
Tiger, Polar Bear, and Robin are new 5 x 7 mixed media animal friends I’ve added to my art shop on my website. Tiger and Polar Bear came about because of an inspiring reading I had from a friend this summer.
Tiger encourages us to know that we are always in a state of becoming and there is nothing we need to do, but to just fully embrace who we are fully in each moment.
While Polar Bear wanders its path with curiosity and without worry of what will be, the spirals reflect that this is the process of life as we wander. An ebb and flow of inward and then outward which is a necessary part of what walking our path is all about.
Robin with its very vocal and beautiful song pulled me into a welcome trance one early evening. Noticing the change in light as we head toward fall, I appreciate how Robin sings its song in every season as it truly knows the song of its soul! And how gorgeous the colors of Robin looks among the foliage of fall.
With each original or print there is the option of an add onto make it even more personal as a gift for yourself or a friend… with a one card reading! In the write up I include the wisdom of the animal you purchase, plus I pull one oracle card from my collection of decks and intuit a personalized message to you (or friend).
My mixed media is a combination of collage paper, photos I’ve either taken or copyright-free images from various resources and then enhanced with pastel chalks, paint, gel pens, stencils, and sparkle gems. Plus I add dried flowers, twigs, feathers and/or stones I forage from around my Joyful Pause Cottage studio from what I gather on my early morning walks.
And…Inspired by the animals who are loving, compassionate, wise, and trusted informants and allies.
