Frankie’s Visit to Wilson School

A few weeks ago we visited our niece, Holly's 5th grade classroom.  When we got together for Thanksgiving, Holly's mom, Shelly handed me the most blessed gift.  A book of thank you's from the fifth grade class.  I thought I'd post a few over the next coming days.  How one dog has touched the lives of others continues to amaze me… and give my heart goosebumps each and every time.

Dear Barb & Frankie,

Thank you so much for coming in.  Frankie is SO cute!  It is very sad that Frankie was paralyzed.  It is a good thing that she has those wheels so she can still walk.  Your book is amazing.  It is very interesting to read about Frankie and what she does.  You are such a good author.  I am Holly's friend and we play a lot together, plus we bring her home very day we are are BFF's. (note:  I think that means best friends forever.)  It was awesome to take Frankie out of her wheels (note:  I always ask for a volunteer to show how easy it is to take Frankie in and out of her cart).  My dog only weighs eight pounds and she is a miniature dachshund, bue she was the runt of her litter so I can understand, plus she's so small and she doesn't eat a lot.  Thank you again so much for coming in!

                                                                                                 Sincerely,
