One of my favorite creative outlets is to decorate our home for the changing seasons and holidays…so from our nest and hearts…to yours, wishing you a simple and serene holiday season…and a peek inside our nest with a few photos I hope you will enjoy.
New to my table as you enter our home is a sign that reads, “Our Nest” from my sister which was a prize I won for being the first to respond to attending my niece’s bridal shower I didn’t even know there was going to be a prize for that, but I sure do love it!
One of my favorite Santa ornaments from a friend.
New to my tree this year is a mercury glass finial topper and this adorable hedgehog ornament (below) – all the way from Germany! Each year for the last 15 or so years our small town has an event called Old World Christmas Market and vendors come from all over, which is where these came from.
This Gnome was felted by my creative mom – which reminds me of ZZ Top, so yup, that is the name he got. 🙂
Each season I change out this frame with a photo of one of my favorite authors, Tasha Tudor, and my favorite quote of hers, “I don’t believe in hurry.”
