“The beautiful spring came, and when nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also.” – Harriet Ann Jacobs
I don’t have an animal wisdom oracle reading for you this week. Though I thought I’d share some spring with you (photos below!). This past week I was also learning, or rather, retraining myself to breathe with the help of a practitioner. I’ll write about it in a future post. But it’s a method that has been around for decades and one that a scientist/doctor discovered that has helped people with asthma. There are oodles of clinical trials plus peer-reviewed papers and articles, and tons of testimonials of how it’s helped not only people with asthma, but has also helped with over 200 chronic diseases.
While it’s not hard to learn, it’s not easy to go through the method along with the cleansing that comes with it also. Again, I’ll write about it more at some point. But, I’m happy to say I experienced my first-night last night without needing my inhaler overnight. Also, the past three days I’ve only used it three times – compared to having used it at least four times a day plus 2 – 4 times each night for I don’t know how many years now. I’m clearly feeling and seeing the benefits. But I also gave myself the space I needed last week to just be with this experience, which I’m going to continue to do, and conserving my energy when need be as I continue to incorporate this method into my life.
But for now…. here is some spring and flower wisdom. I think the quote above shares perfectly how good these two things are for the soul…Pots ready for planting annuals which are sitting on the blue table above…
New perennials to my garden this year…
Some existing perennials and a shrub in my garden who are early bloomers…
Flower box of annuals on Joyful Pause Cottage…
A reminder that I have my book excerpt series for my memoir I’m Fine Just the Way I Am that is ongoing right now. Each day I release a new chapter excerpt on my YouTube channel. If you want to catch up on what I’ve posted so far you can find them here.
Enjoy your week!
