The Animal Anthology Project- My Story Accepted!

A little over a year ago I submitted a story to The Animal Anthology Project about Frankie the Walk ‘N Roll Dog as a therapy dog. I completely forgot about it, so was very surprised to find out today that my story was accepted out of 1,500 entries. Yippee! When things like this happen to me, tears instantly come to my eyes and a joyful love floods my heart.

What I really love about this project is it was started by a teenager, Christine Catlin who is a  writer and animal lover. She wants to make a difference in the lives of animals. I also love that proceeds from her anthology projects benefit Best Friends Animal SanctuaryASPCA, and World Wildlife fund.

The book will be published in 2013 and I’ll be sure to let all of you know as I know you’ll want to get a copy and help animals in need!
