I drove by this church today on my way to an appointment. After I turned down the road, I wished I had stopped to take a picture.
After my appointment, I traced my route back. I just had to have a picture of this church. I sat for a few moments in awe of the building, the leaves on the steps, and the vines in fall splendor that make their home on the brick walls.
While I don’t go to church I did sit in wonder and appreciation for a few moments of all that God has graced us with — from the workers that constructed this building who knows how many years ago, to how nature is entwined with the church — and isn’t that what this is all about — to pause often, give thanks, and enjoy all the beauty around us?
