Early this morning flashed across the TV screen was an inspirational story. It tugged right at my heart strings. There is a paralyzed dachshund who has competed for quite a few years in the yearly wiener dog races. He usually comes in last, but it is his determination and spirit that brought tears to my eyes. Years ago these poor little animals were put down if they developed back problems, but now with the help of wheels they can live a quality life. I know for me personally, and my Frankie girl being in wheels or as we call them tires, she has brought blessings beyond measure to my life. Every day she inspires me to be the best and to continue to roll on with life. Such are the beautiful lessons we can learn from our animals.
