This artwork was inspired by my taking part in a global meditation for peace in December 2025.
As I dropped into stillness, I felt the sweet presence of my dog in spirit, Gidget, come sit with me.
She showed me a meadow full of flowers, their heads in the shape of hearts.
Within each heart, a pocket with starbursts bloomed outwards representing that when we are in a space of peace it is like sparks of lights of peace that effortlessly radiate out into the world.
Simply by being in a state of peace within ourselves.
Admiring, and deeply appreciating the peaceful scene unfolding in my mind while my heart expanded in love, snail, ladybug, and butterfly came into view joining in the peace movement too.
And Gidget’s message?
Pick a pocket of peace when you need one.
