Cover Reveal for My Animal Reflections Healing Oracle Deck

I’m excited to share with you the cover of my Animal Reflections Healing Oracle deck! While I’d been referring to my deck by a working title, this is now the title I’ve chosen after much, well, as the title depicts…reflection.

There is a reason I chose Wolf along with another animal depicted on the cover that perhaps isn’t as obvious. But I’ll begin with Wolf.

I know some of you have been following my journey for quite a long time now (thank you!) and you know that Wolf is one of my spirit guides. Wolf, for me, is all about keeping the heart open. Especially when we are going through emotional pain. It’s about healing that wound within so we don’t build up walls around our hearts and suffer unnecessarily. When we heal what needs our attention the outcome is deeper compassion not only for ourselves but for those around us too.

Wolf is special to me also and is connected to the canine family. And as many of you know, I’ve had some special dog friends who have helped me along my journey.

I recently shared an excerpt from my book I’m Fine Just the Way I Am – Healing Emotional Pain through the Wisdom of Animals and Oracles and the chapter I wrote about my connection with Wolf if you’d like to read that and here is the link.

As to the mystery of the other animal depicted on the cover, I believe you will see it once I share it with you…

It is Firefly!

Firefly is depicted by the glowing bursts of light on the cover that surround the wolf. Firefly and Wolf are represented in the deck also with their own cards. As I began simmering in the idea of creating an animal-themed oracle deck, my purpose for my deck was to help others shine their light out into the world.

It takes courage to walk the path of who we truly are. Wolf stands before you on the path and promises to walk with love and compassion beside you as you take your first step toward honoring all aspects of who you are.

As you take another step, and yet another one, down that path of living in alignment with your heart, your true essence becomes brighter and brighter – just like a firefly!

The more you work with all aspects of what makes you unique, you will vibrate a beacon of light out into the world that will no doubt have a positive effect on those you meet along the way.

A symbol I also included on the cover is that of the spiral. The spiral became so important to me when I first began walking my own spiritual journey over twenty years ago. It’s about the journey to that still place within and where the answers lie and the vitalness of doing the inner work that is necessary to feel whole and at peace with who we are – that we are able to spiral back out and into the world time and time again.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the cover of my animal oracle deck and the story behind it!
