New Years eve before I headed to bed, I sat on the sofa in the living room, all was quiet, and I wrote out my word for 2015. I colored the letters in with my koi marker pen set, which I love using. I also like using Joanne Fink’s Zenspiration books for ideas and her lettering technique.
It was such a calming and sweet way to say goodbye to 2014 and welcome 2015. I melted right into the sheets and fell fast asleep, content in taking some time to just be and do what felt right for me to let go of 2014.
First thing this morning, I scanned it on my computer and framed it. It now hangs in my writing cottage, where I will see it every morning as I practice my yoga.
Not only is it a reminder of the word I chose for 2015 but also of how much I enjoy being creative. I want to make sure I have more creativity in my life this year.
And to my astonishment, ever since I chose this as my word, I’ve been seeing the word everywhere! So interesting how that tends to happen.
