Hey Papa! The whites are done!
I couldn’t resist putting Frankie in the laundry basket and then emptying the clean whites in around her. At least my husband, John smiled this time when I handed him the whites to fold.
Posters are all around the Canada school for the raffle the kids are doing to raise money for animals in need. Karen, the teacher wrote to tell me the kids are doing it in Frankie's honor and named it "Frankie the Walk and Roll Raffle." If you know me by now, you know I got all choked up reading they named it this. Karen went on to say: "You have really enriched each one of them (the kids) by creating the blog (Frankie's) and taking the time to answer each question. I wish you could see their faces when we bring the blog up and they see that their question has been answered! You and Frankie really touch them. I met with all the teachers today involveded in the compassion project and I had to tell them that the best thing about doing the compassion project was finding Frankie's video on teacher tube and the resulting connection we have made and the impact on the kids!"
Ain't compassion grand? I'm floating on a cloud knowing my tiny sweet dog has made such a beautiful impact on not only these children's lives, but so many others also.
You guessed it! I’ve been elfed yet again! Can you believe it? This little green guy arrived in a mysterious manilla envelope, same as the first one, with a typed address label. He was wrapped in bubble wrap. I really laughed when I realized I was elfed again! I sure am beginning to wonder if these little fella’s are truly coming from the North Pole! Has there been a lay off even at the North Pole? Golly, I sure hope not! I am tickled with my new friends… they surely do bring a BIG SMILE to my face. I have them out in my studio sitting on my printer and I can’t help but chuckle when I look at them. I promise dear Sanata I will take very good care of these precious elves you have gifted me with.
