Ok, I know you are probably wondering what this post has to do with animals or dogs, right?   Well, a friend sent me a comic that just made me chuckle, because it was so what happened to me!  When I launched my book, Frankie, the Walk 'N Roll Dog in 2008 I had over 200 people attend.  Since then I have had other authors ask how I did that.  Most kindly, but true, I say, "Put a cute dog in wheels and people will come."  Frankie stole the show!!… and I loved every minute of it that she did.  So when my friend sent me this comic it reminded me of one of the best days of my life at my book launch.

Frankie, the Walk 'N Roll Dog and her author mom, Barbara Techel will be donating a portion of book sales for the month of April to Rolling Dog Ranch Animal Sanctuary.

The Rolling Dog Ranch rescues and shelters animals with disabilities.  Every animal that arrives at the sanctuary is given another chance to live a safe, happy, fulfilling life in the loving home of Steve Smith and Alyane Marker.  The residents of the ranch include blind dogs, blind horses, deaf dogs, blind cats and animals with other neurological and orthopedic disabilities.  Read more here to see how you can help.
