Animal Communication with Creature Teacher, Sage Lewis

What a great way to start the week with a animal communication reading from Sage Lewis, Animal Communicator.

Sage asked if I had any specific questions I wanted to ask Frankie, but none came to mind.  I was just really curious to know what she felt Frankie might have to say.

The first thing Sage said was that Frankie has a huge heart, she is playful, as well as, whimsical.  But she also said, “Frankie also has a serious side to her and lives life like she has a job to do.”

She went on to say this serious side has to do with Frankie being aware of the preciousness of life. She was brought here to be of service, and even before her injury she has always been a healer dog.  Sage also feels Frankie has a higher level of consciousness.

Now what was really interesting is that on Saturday I had a Healing Touch session done for Frankie.  Linda, who did the Healing Touch, felt Frankie had some distress in her neck and front right leg, as well as some issues in her spine.  Nothing serious, but could just be from her injury.  Well, today, Sage said she felt Frankie has a crick in her neck and midway down her back on the right side near her rib cage.

This has all very much intrigued me because I have been worried about Frankie not wanting to really go for walks anymore.  She is very resistant to them.  But with Linda’s guidance she taught me massage for Frankie, as well as Sage has suggested some chiropractic care, so I will look into that.  She suggested I start with Chiropractic for Everybody website.

Sage also said that Frankie shared with her that she tires easily.  She said that Frankie told her to ask me if I could carry her more.  We talked about my doing presentations at our local schools, etc. with Frankie  and how aware of I am about not over stressing her. It actually made me feel good in my heart that I am very in tune with Frankie and know her limits.

Sage ended with saying she felt that Frankie and I have a very deep soul connection.  Now that I knew!… but oh, so very comforting and wonderful to hear it.

If you have ever considered having an animal communicator tell you about a current or past pet, I would highly encourage it.  I love being open to these concepts and for me, it just gives me such a peaceful knowing about myself and my love for animals.

Audio Preview of Frankie, the Walk ‘N Roll Therapy Dog Visits Libby’s House

It is sooo exciting to watch a book you put your heart into come alive with illustrations.  The final touches are being made to Frankie’s new book, Frankie, the Walk ‘N Roll Therapy Dog Visits Libby’s House to debut January 2010.  Victoria Kay Lieffring was once again the illustrator and she captured the essence of the book in the colors and details of the story.  I am so pleased and can’t wait to share it with all of you!  As a little gift and sneak peek I recorded a snippet of the book so you could find out a bit more what this book is about.  I’m so proud of the therapy dog work that Frankie does and the lives she is touching.

You can go to my website and scroll down to 3rd book on page for the snippet of the reading right on your computer!  I’d love to hear your thoughts.

And speaking of therpay dogs be sure and read this wonderful article I learned about from our pal, Shadrach, over at Bark ‘N Blog!  Speaks to what therapy dog work is all about!!

Horses Helping Humans

Last Saturday I attended a wonderful workshop! To have this available practically in my backyard was an additional bonus.

The day was not your typical late August day as it was in the low 60’s, cloudy and very windy.  But nothing was going to stop me from taking part in my opportunity to be around horses.  I bundled up in my orange wool sweater and quilted fleece and was ready to take on the day.

Coach Horse workshops consist of “pursuing similar goals and objectives exploring life issues while allowing you to take a closer look at your habits and conditioning from your past. Through guided exercises and working with horses, portals will open for you to explore and discover your true-self without judgment as you recognize life patterns that no longer serve you.”

Anytime I can take time for myself and re-evaluate where I am on my path always leaves me feeling more balanced.  This workshop took place in a beautiful setting on a horse ranch, surrounded by many acres of lush, wooded land.  We had an opening ceremony around a bonfire visualizing ourselves in a meadow and then entering a forest.  This took us to a path we would walk down and along the way we found questions written out which we would have to read and write the first thing that came to our mind.  After four questions we came to the end of the path and another bonfire.

After sharing our discoveries from the answered questions, we had an Indian type ceremony with drums and rattles.  Then into the cozy, warm lower level of the facilitators home where we had introductions and discussion.

After lunch it was out to the stable to work with the horses.  I was eagerly awaiting this all morning!  Though I do get a bit afraid to ride a horse, we wouldn’t be riding today, but just be with the horses.  “A horse aids in teaching or showing an individual how to view  their life or work situation from a different perspective which then creates a new learning or healing environment of growth.”

We were asked to pick a horse and told to share our vision by painting the side of the horse.  I chose to overcome my fear of large horses, by picking the biggest one to paint my vision on.  So I picked Dan.  I’m not really a painter, but did my best, and really all I wanted to do was just pet Dan and be with him.  But I painted the sun, with words of happy, joy and peace in the center as that is what I want for everyone.

We rounded out the day with a guided mediation and closing ceremony and blessing by the bonfire.  When I received the above photo from the facilitator it really warmed my heart once again.  My heart is always wide open and so full of happiness and peace when I am around animals… so to have been with Dan, a magnificent creature is something I will always remember… and now want more of!
