Frankie took part in helping out the “Friends of the Library” by selling Book Drop Cookies to people awaiting on the side-lines to watch the parade. Our local parade was held on Sunday, July 1st. I may be a bit partial because I live here, but I think our parade is spectacular! And what a treat to have the UW Wisconsin marching band as part of our parade this year… it was thrilling!
Frankie greeted parade goers with her usual sweet personality as John and I sold cookies to help raise money for our local library. People can’t help but want to pet her when they see her decked out in her red, white and blue bandanna and her basket decorated with stars and sparklers.
Frankie and I wish each of you truly special day today! We feel so fortunate to be a part of this country and have the freedom to pursue our dreams.
