Tick Tock #30 and Snake Spirit #55
Tick Tock asks the questions where in your life are you feeling you have too little time? It’s time (no pun intended!) to shatter the illusion of time which is a man-made concept.
Trust the natural order and flow of life instead of pushing against it. Trust that all is in divine timing. Let go of when you think something should happen and trust that the universe has your back. Stop, pause, and check-in, especially when you are feeling rushed and pressured to complete something or yearning for something that is not yet a reality.
Snake Spirit in protection (reverse) invites you to look at what part of you knows you put pressure on yourself when it comes to the completion of a task, challenge, project, or issue. What kind of restrictions are you putting on yourself? Ask yourself where does this come from and this need to put a time constraint on something. Snake asks you to check in by first grounding yourself. Then listen and tap into what you know is no longer true for you. Snake asks that you shed that layer you know you’ve been wanting to and heal what is being called to heal. The #55 on the card I see as speaking to staying within your own speed limit in order to fulfill your hopes and dreams.

When I sit down to do a general reading to share with you, I sometimes have to chuckle as it’s the message I need to hear too.
When I walked out my front door on Sunday morning to do some work in the garden I noticed my car had a flat tire. I must have run over a nail or something. John filled it with air, but within a few hours, it was flat again. I knew I’d have to take it in this week and get it fixed. I didn’t know when I’d do it, but the reality was I was inwardly grumbling that it felt like such an inconvenience.
I also already had my Monday morning plans laid out on my calendar of polishing and tweaking the book I’m working on, plus doing this reading to share here on my blog.
Why was I upset? Well, I realize I was caught in the illusion of time telling myself the whole day would be shot because I had to get the tire fixed. I also put this pressure on myself that I wanted this reading to be here on my blog and out on my social media channels no later than 9:30am.
I also knew I had an appointment this afternoon plus I’ll be gone for the day on Wednesday. I needed my car and the tire to be reliable. The smart and best thing to do was run and get it fixed right away, which I did. And now I’m home, the reading is done, and I have plenty of time to get in a few hours work on my book before my next appointment.
How easy it is to go down that rabbit hole, isn’t it? But when we stop and evaluate with a sound mind of which I had after my yoga practice and doing a personal reading for myself, I let go and trusted all would work out. And it did.
Have a beautiful week!
XO,
Barbara
