A Closer Look at My Animal Oracle Art Benefiting Animal Welfare

I thought it would be fun to give you a closer look at my Animal Oracle Art in this video today. Because it is dimensional in quality it’s sometimes hard to capture that in a photo.

A selection of my art is now being offered at nonprofit LaValley Home and Garden in Howards Grove, WI with $10 per purchase benefiting animal welfare.  And they will ship upon request if a piece calls to you!

So here is a sneak peek of two pieces I recently finished plus links below the video to LaValley Home and Garden, plus my website to see other artwork available.

My Animal Oracle Art Partners with Non-Profit Shop to Benefit Animal Welfare & Nature Conservancy

I’m so delighted and honored to share this exciting announcement!

I’ve partnered with a local non-profit shop called LaValley Home and Garden and they are now carrying my Animal Oracle Art!

$10 from every purchase of my art goes to their grant program that benefits animal welfare and nature conservancy.

My collages blend together thoughtfully chosen images often inspired from animals I observe in nature and around my Joyful Pause Cottage studio, dried florals and leaves, plus natural elements I discover on my walks such as acorns, feathers, stones, and tree branches, along with bits of discarded ephemera creating a three dimensional effect that is nestled with care into a shadow box. On the back of each piece you will find an oracle message written by me as a guide to deepen the connection with yourself, animals, and nature.

I loved this comment from one of the co-owners of LaValley Home & Garden, “I just want to climb right into them!”

This is exactly what I wish my art to convey – to remind us that we are a part of nature and the animals and that we indeed are nature itself!

For a more detailed view of each piece please visit my website here.

Tiger, Robin & Polar Bear! New 5 x 7 Originals and Prints Available – with a Fun Twist!

Becoming I Am

Tiger, Polar Bear, and Robin are new 5 x 7 mixed media animal friends I’ve added to my art shop on my website. Tiger and Polar Bear came about because of an inspiring reading I had from a friend this summer.

Tiger encourages us to know that we are always in a state of becoming and there is nothing we need to do, but to just fully embrace who we are fully in each moment.

While Polar Bear wanders its path with curiosity and without worry of what will be, the spirals reflect that this is the process of life as we wander. An ebb and flow of inward and then outward which is a necessary part of what walking our path is all about.

Wander the Path of Curiosity

Robin with its very vocal and beautiful song pulled me into a welcome trance one early evening. Noticing the change in light as we head toward fall, I appreciate how Robin sings its song in every season as it truly knows the song of its soul! And how gorgeous the colors of Robin looks among the foliage of fall.

Imagine the Song of Your Soul

With each original or print there is the option of an add on to make it even more personal as a gift for yourself or a friend… with a one card reading! In the write up I include the wisdom of the animal you purchase, plus I pull one oracle card from my collection of decks and intuit a personalized message to you (or friend).

Originals available here.

Prints available here.

My mixed media is a combination of collage paper, photos I’ve either taken or copyright-free images from various resources and then enhanced with pastel chalks, paint, gel pens, stencils, and sparkle gems. Plus I add dried flowers, twigs, feathers and/or stones I forage from around my Joyful Pause Cottage studio from what I gather on my early morning walks.

And…Inspired by the animals who are loving, compassionate, wise, and trusted informants and allies.
