I was fascinated by how one of my Daylily plants after the bloom had died away, then dried to this. It has a beauty all of it’s own. And it made me think of this quote:
Deep in their roots, all flowers keep the light. ~Theodore Roethke
Just like humans – even in the darkest moments that light inside of us never goes away. But it’s up to us to find a way to let it come to the surface once again.
