Joy Is: Being Inspired by Other Writer’s

When I hired life coach, Diane Krause-Stetson to help me figure out what I wanted for my life to bring me more joy, to which I discovered would be writing and animals, she gave me the gift of sharing a wonderful book with me. The book was Create Your Writer’s Life: A Guide to Writing With Joy and Ease, by Cynthia Morris.

Coaching with Diane, and this book, started my path to where I am today… and oh, what joy it has been! Well, ok, some bumps along the way, but that is what life is about, right?  But staying in tune with what makes me happy, as well as being inspired by others keeps me on the right track.  I’ve worked with Cynthia via different programs she has offered and each and every time I’ve been propelled to a new level in my writing, as well as how I see myself as a person.

Cynthia Morris is one of my biggest inspirations.  I look forward to her blog posts each and every week- especially her video posts. Her authenticity is so refreshing and I find myself sometimes wanting to be a Cynthia wanna-be!

If you are of the creative type, I invite you to discover Cynthia’s website and blog for yourself.  Being inspired by other writer’s sometimes gives me that extra push that I need when I find myself procrastinating.  Joy is being inspired by Cynthia and connecting with other creative people which always awakens my muse!

Talk 2 the Animals Radio Will Talk with Us about Frankie’s Disabled Animal Rescue & Resource Page

Tune in Tuesday, February 8th at 8:00pm CST as Janet Roper, host of Talk 2 the Animals will talk with me and Frankie about our latest efforts to expand on our mission to help animals with disabled pets.

Award-winning author Barbara Techel and her dog Frankie known as the “Walk ‘N Roll Dog” have been dedicated to bringing a positive face to disabled animals, especially those diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) since 2007.
They share their message of hope with schools, libraries and organizations in Wisconsin and as well as via Skype.  Frankie is also a certified therapy dog bringing joy to the sick, dying and lonely.
Though Barbara is not involved with rescue, she wanted to expand on her and Frankie’s mission by trying to help more animals with special needs.  So she created Frankie’s Disabled Animal Rescue and Resource page which can be found on Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/frankiesdisabledanimalandresuce.  This page is for any rescuers or humane societies, or anyone involved in finding homes for pets with special needs, to feel free to post photos and stories of special needs pets  needing homes.

Help us spread the word by letting your local humane societies and rescuers know this page is there for them to share photos and stories of special needs pets they may have that need to find forever and loving homes. Together we can make a difference!
