It’s our last evening in Blue Ridge, GA. Tomorrow we head to warmer weather. It was our plan to stay through Saturday then travel on to Chattanooga, TN for four days, but we are pivoting. Rain is expected on and off – mostly on – for the next six days in both areas.
But today I just had to share with you the apple blossoms in full bloom! We took a drive along Aska road this morning which winds along the Tocca river and we came across this gorgeous row of apple blossom trees. The farmland itself is spectacular with horses and cows grazing but it’s also a wedding venue. What a stellar place to get married.
Then turning around and driving back down Aska road, coming to the end again, I noticed this row of apple blossoms lined along a cemetery. Such a juxtaposition, I thought. It reminded me of the Circle of Life.
While there is so much going on in our world, I feel grateful for this trip and soaking up every moment of it. Because as the apple blossom trees along the cemetery reminded me….life is short.
