At the end of our presentation I came up with sharing Frankie’s motto by having 7 volunteers come up and each turn over a word to reveal Frankie’s motto: “Always be positive and keep on rolling.” The first time I did this was at Butterfly Bookstore a few weeks ago. When the kids read Frankie’s statement, I felt a lump form in my throat. It was fun sharing that message once again. This time at the Sheboygan Mead Library.
I had the distinct honor of having a very special guest with me yesterday… my mom. It may sound funny, but I told my mom afterwards that I was more nervous with her there! We always want to be our best of best around those that love us though, and I guess that is why I was a bit nervous. She took this picture for me and named it, “7 words.” How 7 words can have a profound affect on your life if you follow them, don’t you think? It is my hope that every child we meet remembers those words and applies it to their lives.
