These vests are designed to take pressure off a dogs spine when you have them leashed and are walking them. They also have a built in seat belt so you can also seat belt your friend in the car. I think that is so wise and smart. If you are to come to a sudden stop your best friend could seriously get hurt. Frankie has a doggie car seat and her vest will be added security.
