I give thanks…
for this view out my writing cottage window.
For the ritual of lighting a candle,
ringing my singing bowl,
and asking spirit for guidance for my day.
I give thanks for this place of quiet and beauty
that opens a sacred space within me.
A daily act that never fails to welcome me
with open arms, encouraging me to follow
what is true for me.
I give the deepest of thanks.
